About Company

The Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company is an extension of the Saleh Al Othaim Trading Establishment, founded by the late Sheikh Saleh Al Othaim (may he rest in peace) in 1376 AH / 1956 AD. The establishment opened its first location in the heart of the commercial area in Al-Qasman, Al-Batha, focusing on food trading. In 1401 AH / 1980 AD, the Abdullah Al Othaim Trading Company was established to continue expanding its operations and opening centers for wholesale and retail.

A major turning point in the company's journey occurred in 1410 AH / 1990 AD when the number of markets reached fourteen. During this time, the "Consumer Wholesale" system was implemented across all company markets, establishing Abdullah Al Othaim Markets as a leader in this field. In 1412 AH / 1992 AD, large warehouses with high standards for dry and refrigerated storage were opened to support the growth and development of the company across its multiple centers.

The distribution fleet was expanded to enhance the service level provided to customers and facilitate cooperation with suppliers. In 2008, Abdullah Al Othaim Markets was listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), allowing investors to participate in its success and growth.

The company continues to implement its strategy for expansion and growth, aiming to reach 400 branches by the end of 2024 to cover cities and governorates across the Kingdom. This is in line with a comprehensive vision and a constant commitment to providing high-quality and distinctive products to all customers.
