Othaim Markets Company has reached (3.916) billion riyals total sales in 2011 compared to (3.396) billion riyals in 2010, up to (15.29%).The company achieved the highest percentage of sales during July in amount of(474) million in 2011 compared to (301) million for the same month of the year 2010.

Mr. Abdullah Bin Saleh Al Othaim, Chairman of Othaim company ,said: that the increase in sales volume, was the result of the expansion policy by the company within the strategy to increase the branches to cover all parts of the Kingdom ,in addition to the good cooperation with suppliers. He added that the increase in the number of shoppers reached (7.51%) with the number of (35,899,196) shoppers in the year 2010 compared to (38,594,574)in 2011,

Othaim Markets Company won the position number (54) among a hundred largest Saudi company for the year 2011, and has a (108) branches in the Kingdom.also the company were selected as strongest brand in the Kingdom according to a study of  Nielsen Company for Research and Studies.
